It is a sort of student cinema for low buged tickets. The atmosphere is quite nice with random chairs, sofas and pillows. It plays movies twice a week, however it is ONLY in GERMAN. So, be aware if you are exchange student or if you are looking for small a cinema with movies in original language.
Well don't expect a cinema like screen. Prices are low and they show a wide variety of movies in Omu and German. Seats are comfy, but the height difference could be more. They also show the movies way later than the big cinemas. It's alright only thing that is missing is a better projector, since it is so small you can go for a Laserprojector, which would make it have the best image quality here in Chemnitz.

Sehr gemtliches, kleines Kino kit einer interessanten Auswahl an Filmen. Tolle Atmosphre.
Sympathische Preispolitik, gemtliches Ambiente und neben den blichen Blockbustern werden auch oftmals Filme gezeigt, von denen man ansonsten wahrscheinlich nie etwas gehrt htte nicht selten auch in OmU. Neben dem Metropol definitiv die beste Alternative zum Cinestar.
